Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

The short version: You don't enter any personal details on our Site — there's no form to fill in. When you tap the quote button, we record basic device and advertising data (such as your IP address, the ad you arrived from, and a random click ID) and send you to our insurance partner, where you enter your details directly with them. To measure our ads, we share online identifiers (not your name or email) with Meta — you can opt out. We don't sell your information. Questions or requests: [email protected].

This Privacy Policy explains how QuotesPoint ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use quotespoint.com (the "Site"). QuotesPoint is operated by Veles Digital.

1. Who we are

QuotesPoint is a lead-generation and comparison service that connects consumers with insurance partners offering quotes. We are not an insurance company, broker, or agent, and we do not underwrite, issue, or service insurance policies. We are an advertising business and earn a commission from our partners — see our Affiliate Disclosure.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

Our Site has no form to fill in, so we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other details you would type. When you tap the quote button, you're taken to our partner's site, where anything you enter goes directly to them. We practice data minimization: we never request or collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, financial account numbers, or health information on our Site.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • IP address and approximate location (country, region, city)
  • Browser type, device, and user-agent string
  • Pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps
  • Advertising parameters when you arrive from an ad (for example fbclid, utm_source, utm_campaign, and which creative you clicked)
  • Cookies and similar identifiers (see Section 8)

3. How we use information

  • To send you to our insurance partner, Champion Auto Insurance, so you can request a quote from them
  • To pass advertising identifiers (a random click ID and the ad source) to our partner so your referral is credited correctly
  • To measure advertising performance through server-side conversion events (for example, the Meta Conversions API)
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site and prevent fraud and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

When you continue to Champion Auto Insurance, you provide your details directly to them. Whether and how Champion contacts you (including by email) is governed by Champion's own privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe from their emails at any time.

4. How we share information

4.1 Our insurance partner

We do not send Champion Auto Insurance your name or email — you provide those directly on Champion's own site. When we redirect you, the link includes advertising identifiers (a random click ID and ad-source labels) so Champion can credit the referral. Any details you give Champion are governed by their own privacy policy at championautoinsurance.com.

4.2 Advertising partners ("sharing" for ad measurement)

We share online and device identifiers — such as your IP address, cookie IDs, and a click ID — and event data with Meta Platforms, Inc. via the Meta Conversions API to measure which ads work. We do not share your name or email, because we do not collect them. Under California law, this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out — see Sections 6 and 10.

4.3 Service providers

We use Cloudflare, Inc. to host the Site and provide DNS, content delivery, security, analytics, and email forwarding. Cloudflare processes data under its own privacy policy and our instructions.

4.4 Legal and safety

We may disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or the safety of our users or the public.

4.5 We do not sell your information for money

We do not sell your personal information for monetary payment. We do "share" data for ad measurement as described in 4.2; you can opt out at any time.

5. Data retention

We have no user accounts and collect no name or email. We retain the technical and advertising data described above (IP address, device/browser, ad parameters, and click IDs) for up to 24 months to measure advertising, prevent fraud, and keep required records, after which we delete or anonymize it. Aggregated or anonymized analytics that cannot identify you may be kept longer. You can request deletion sooner (Sections 9–10).

6. Your choices & opt-outs

  • Email: unsubscribe from any email our partner sends you at any time.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): we honor the GPC browser signal. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a request to opt out of "sharing" and will not share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Do Not Sell or Share: you can opt out of "sharing" anytime — see Section 10 or email [email protected].
  • Cookies: control cookies through your browser settings (Section 8).

7. International users & data location

QuotesPoint is operated by Veles Digital (Serbia) and serves users in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and the European Union. By using the Site you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use first-party cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, measure traffic and conversions (including the Meta Pixel and Cloudflare analytics, where enabled), and prevent fraud. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Site functionality. Because we target U.S. users, we do not currently display an EU-style cookie-consent banner; if you are in a region that requires one, please adjust your browser settings or contact us.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or [email protected]. We will verify your request (by confirming the email address we hold) and respond within 45 days.

10. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA.

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

12. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

13. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and scoped access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted here; continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
